Greetings all,

My name is James Brooks and I am delighted to be able to bring to you my very own golf blog, “We Get Golf“. Although new to the blogging world, with We Get Golf, I will be looking to keep you all-up-to-date on the latest topical issues in golf, as well as other talking points such as golf equipment, golf fitness, golf books etc. I have just set up a twitter account where I update the profile multiple times a day to ensure you don’t miss a thing so be sure to check me out.

I myself am originally from Clonakilty in West Cork, Ireland and currently live in Dublin.  I play my golf out of both Dunmore Golf Club and Carton House. Golf is a strong passion of mine and I was fortunate to get down to 5 handicap at quite a young age. That’s unfortunately where the progression ended however and I remain today off 6 handicap. (Fortunately, since I wrote this my game has come on a bit again and I now play off a 5 handicap again….well, 4.6 to be exact)

For those who know me, you know I like to make my point heard so writing a blog seemed like a logical thing to do. I will look to engage you in interesting golf topics and perhaps bring value to each of your own games over the coming days, weeks and months ahead to check the website regularly. I also have started another blog on internet marketing issues so why not check it out here.

Of course, by engaging in topical golf conversations and providing my opinions on who will win various competitions, I am inviting you to challenge me when I get it wrong. Friendly banter is always welcome so feel free to leave any comments you may have.
