Last Sunday at Cran-Sur-Sierre proved to be a very good day indeed for a number of interested parties. Firstly, Miguel Angel Jimenez will be delighted with his form and the manner in which he closed out the Omega Masters with the most improved golfer on the planet, Edouardo Molinari breathing down his neck. Colin Montgomerie, like the rest of Europe, will also be heartened by the sight of two of the Ryder Cup members going head to head and producing some stunning golf over the four days. Lastly, but certainly by no means least, We get Golf and our tipster Ian were delighted because two of our tips made our readers money this week.

Miguel Angel Jimenez brought home the bacon for us with his win and it means another winner for the blog at a not-too-shabby price of 16/1. However, that wasn’t all.
