The New Titleist Pro V1…the Difference?
Manufacturers bring out new golf products on a regular basis so when Titleist brought out the new Pro V1, it was time to sit up and take notice. My brother Ian, who is another golf fanatic, filled me in on the new ball,
“First of all, the core has been reformulated and has been made larger. This contributes to longer distance while keeping that same soft feel. The redesigned, thinner casing layer contributes to improved Drop-and-Stop performance. The new, high performance formulation of Urethane Elastomer offers improved durability on all shots. Besides this, nothing else has changed. The ball remains a 3 piece golf ball and it still has 392 dimples with a staggered wave line”
