Travelers Campionship Rd1 & a Plea to Win!
I thought Kenny Perry would go well last week at the US Open but alas, it wasn’t to be and instead, Perry has come flying out of the blocks at this weeks Travelers Championship, shooting a superb -9 round of 61. After reaching the turn in 29 and adding a birdie on 10, it really looked like a 59 was on the cards. Still, I’m sure he will settle for 61!
Elsewhere, last weeks Champion Lucas Glover and runner up Ricky Barnes confirm that golf really is a game of confidence as they shot a pair of 65’s. Considering he left the US Open slip through his grasp last week, what neutral wouldn’t be pleased to see Barnes lift the title this week?
