The likable Fijian, Vijay Singh had a great year winning the Fed Ex Cup. Now in his 40’s, you would have thought he would be slowing down but being one of the mist dedicated and hardest working pro’s on tour, Singh just keeps adding those titles.
Steak lover, bouncer and a family man are just some of the things about Singh’s likes and dislikes. Find out more in the following video as Vijay gives us a quick insight. As always, the videos are courtesy of PGA Tour on You Tube.

Vijay is my favorite player on the PGA Tour today and has been since I started following golf a couple of years ago.
The story of how he got where he is has to be one of golf’s most inspiring ever and his dedication to staying on top is, of course, legendary. Watching him play in person is an experience. His stance and presence alone is quite breathtaking.
He hasn’t always been popular, even during the short time I’ve been a fan, he’s been maligned by many due to his sometimes frosty response to the press, and residual negativity stemming from his 2003 comments regarding women playing in PGA events.
Sentiment towards him is more positive these days. I think he himself has mellowed somewhat and he’s certainly proven himself, beyond all doubt to be one of the best ever. It would be awesome to see him win at Bethpage.
Thanks for the comment Patricia.
Its strange because his reputation over here is as a laid back hardworking individual. His story as you said is inspirational and he deserves huge respect for this.
Wont be cheering for him at Bethpage though, me being a loyal Irishman. 2nd perhaps!!
