Tiger gets out of the Woods and Roars Back to Top

We Get Golf have been hugely critical of Tiger Woods long game recently, stating he would continue to struggle unless he focused on hitting more fairways. Well, guess what? Woods this week was second in driving accuracy and hit all 14 fairways in round 4 on route to capturing the Memorial Tournament. When Woods hits fairways, it is difficult to see him getting beaten.

It was a simply sublime final round from Woods, topped off with an incredible second shot to the last to finish with a birdie. It was vintage Woods and it is ominous now ahead of his defence of the US Open. We Get Golf tipped Tiger to win a major in 2009 as our “Top Top Tip” at 5/6. We are ever more confident now!

  1. I am a Tiger guy, but as far as just flat out golfing his ball, Vijay’s 2004 season was as good as any in the past six decades.

Like me and some others, Vijay needs to have a little switch installed which forces him to rethink every statement before it leaves his mouth. Being brought up on Fiji did not prepare him for being politically correct for the screaming liberals in America. In some countries, not the United States of America, you can actually say what is on your mind without being castigated as a bigot, racist or sexist.

  2. 2004 was an incredible season for Vijay. He certainly has endured his fair share of criticism, much of which has been over hyped I believe.
A great golfer with a fantastic dedication toward the game. If he keeps producing good golf, I’m not too bothered by what comes out of his mouth.
