After undergoing extensive tests, Phil Mickelson’s wife, Amy, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Always with smiles on their faces, our sympathies go out to the Mickelson family at this difficult time of their lives. The couple married in 1996 and have three kids, aged 9, 7 & 6.

We Get Golf have always looked up to Mickelson for his demeanor both on and off the golf course and we hope they can come through what will no doubt be the biggest challenge of their lives to date. In times like these, golf becomes insignificant and so Phil has suspended his Tour schedule indefinitely. He was due to play the HP Byron Nelson Championship beginning later today and defend his Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial title next week.
